Join Greater Richmond SCAN for our first annual 5k run/fun walk and kids run. The race will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at Short Pump Town Center. Entry fee is $20 for the 5k and $10 for the kids run. All registration fees will help prevent and treat child abuse and neglect throughout the Richmond area. Packet pick up will be at the front of the mall near Crate & Barrel from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. race day. The 5K Run/Walk will begin at 9:00am, with the Kids Run starting at 8:30am. There will also be a Family Festival in the Food Court following the race at 9:30am featuring facepainting, vendors and other activities for children to enjoy.
